The art of listening
We listen to what our clients want. Putting their needs first and understanding their barriers helps us to find the appropriate tools to challenge them. We ensure each client has their own customised programme with the aim of reducing any preconceived fears they may have prior to embarking on their fitness journey.
Creativity goes a long way
Being creative is important when planning a clients programme. In order to get consistency and discipline the training needs to be continually progressive and never stale. Variety is key. To ensure clients remain ‘on their toes’, we keep our trainers up-to-date with the latest research and advice from SMEs that are geared towards strength training. This keeps our fitness programmes enjoyable, fresh and safe. Our priority is to end each session with smiles and high-fives, NOT PUKING!
Personal touch
In order to inspire commitment and consistency to fitness training, we encourage clients to generate a positive PERSONAL relationship towards fitness. By identifying fun ways to keep fit, we show the lasting effects of strength training and provide a meaningful insight into how easy it is to make a person stronger both physically and mentally. Supporting our clients is crucial. Understanding the ‘ups and downs’ people go through, knowing when to being a listening ear, when to be empathetic, and when to encourage people to deal with stress and anxiety in a way that won’t have a negative effect on their fitness regime is vital to stay on track.
Keeping in the loop
We take our reputation seriously. The training we deliver is underpinned by professional qualifications. Our PT’s keep their knowledge consistent to deliver sessions that are best-in-class. We incorporate fundamental military training schools of thought, so our clients can identify their strengths and weaknesses whilst not allowing the latter to become a barrier. Setting both short and long term goals, and creating a realistic action plan that can be tracked by our trainers is one example of this. Our trainers study the concept of relaxation enabling us to complement our fitness programmes with therapies including Pilates, Sports Massage and other reputable holistic treatments.
With 7 years as a soldier in the military, I pride myself on the values that have been instilled in me. That is, punctuality, organisation, respect, motivation, empathy, and a sense of humour! All vital aspects of what I believe it takes to reach success in accomplishing fitness goals.
I have a wealth of experience in fat and weight loss, strength training and toning, mobility and flexibility, sports therapy, and sports specific training. In 2021 I will have completed my degree in BSc Sports Therapy, to go along with my prior fitness qualifications.
I am naturally focused, energetic and I apply dedication and passion to all the fitness services I offer. I am to build strong rapport with my clients, to achieve the best results - my reviews are a testament to this.
I work with a vast range of clients in and no day for me is the same! Most recently, I have been working with clients online during COVID-19. And last week I travelled to Germany with the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association as part of the coaching team.
From strength and conditioning, nutrition, to optimising recovery, I take a holistic approach in helping individuals become the best version of themselves.
Having worked with countless amounts of clients, I understand that everyone is different and unique in their own way. I therefore aim to provide bespoke training and nutritional services pertaining to you and your goals.
Although it may sound cliche, I am deeply passionate about fitness! This has led to me completing my bachelor's degree in Sports & Exercise Science alongside previous qualifications. I have also been working as a Strength and Conditioning coach for Leyton Orient's Women's Football Club.
"I have already seen great progress on my fitness and my body shape and am really enjoying the sessions! Tag sets realistic and achievable goals which also still push you to work hard in each session. He brings a variety of different equipment each week; kettle bells, ropes, ladders, boxing, spin bike which keeps it fun and enjoyable. Tag is also very knowledgeable about the body’s physiology; he has helping me with exercises to mobilise an old shoulder injury. I would recommend Tag as a personal trainer- he’s super friendly, reliable and really knowledgeable on fitness and well- being. good value too!"
